A Little About Me

Hello readers! Wow, it's been a while since I've posted! We had a busy Thanksgiving week, so I didn't get much time to do anything but hang out with the guests we had over. But I am now back and have not a review, or anything book related for that matter, but something different. This will be a more personal post, and kinda get y'all to know a little bit more about me. I'll tell you right now, I'm not that exciting of a person, but I have a few hidden passions and hobbies that few know about. Well, that's about to change. ;)
So I will be posting a bit more personal posts from now on, hopefully. We'll see how it goes. :)

Today I'm going to be telling you about my greatest passion and favorite hobby...

Photography!

For those of you who didn't know, which is probably all of you since I never mention it, I am a photographer and love every moment of it.

The life of a photographer is a fun one. It may sound strange, but you seriously see things that other people never see. You see the world completely differently. Like how looking from a certain angle can make a normal fence look extraordinary, or how the way a plant grows can make an amazing frame.

At the same time, it can be a bit trying. Sometimes that subject you're trying to capture just won't stay still, or a rainy day destroys your planned photo session.

But overall, being a photographer is just plain fun. I enjoy every moment of it and nothing beats the excitement of looking down on that camera screen after snapping a shot and realizing you go the exact picture you wanted.

When it comes to photography, no photographer is absolutely perfect. There is constantly more to learn! I am continually inspired by my photographer friends and other people I see who do amazing things with a camera.

I'm always learning something new, always figuring out different camera settings, always discovering other editing techniques, and it's cool to go back and look at how far my photography has come. Same as anything...It's always interesting going back and looking at your old work after a few years of constant practice. ;)

So there ya go! You've learned something about me now. You can check out more of my photography by going to my Flickr page here! Are you a photographer? Leave a comment and tell me about some of your preferences, what camera you use, and where I might be able to see some of your work! I always love conversing with fellow photography-enthusiasts.
