Waterfall Wednesday

Waterfall Wednesdays-A Read-a-Along Event

This week's WATERFALL WEDNESDAY is being hosted by Missie at The Unread Reader (Missie's the gal who designed that pretty button --right-- for this event, so make sure you stop by and tell her how awesome she is!) NOW! Let's dive into the River of Time!

Gabi's search for her sister is made increasingly difficult by the fight for territory between Forelli and Castello Paratore. At this point, do you think the rivalry is warranted? Why or why not?

Hmm I didn't find the rivalry that warranted, but I suppose that's what happens when two kingdoms don't agree on something. Paratore seemed to be plain ole' greedy while Forelli wanted peace and were only protecting their home.
Gabi aids Fortino by having his sickroom cleaned out and using steam to loosen the phlegm inside his lungs so he could breathe better. Have you ever found yourself in a situation that required you to rely on home remedies to aid yourself or another? What are some of your favourite remedies?

A little more than a year ago I went camping on the river with some friends and I got the WORST sunburn ever. It was so painful, even just out in the sun. When I got home, my face was red and puffy. I looked absolutely horrible. Not kidding.
I used aloe vera that we had and kept in the fridge. It felt really good, but I think what helped most was something a bit more...unusual.
Goat's milk.
Yep, I said goat's milk. I don't know what it did, but I used a cloth and soaked it in goat's milk and applied it to my face every 15 minutes or so. It helped more than anything and made my skin feel really good.

Marcello and his men don't hide their surprise when they learn that Gabi is skilled with a sword. What did you think of this development? Has you initial impression of Gabi changed? Do you have any secret skills?

My secret skill? I can blind people from overexposure to pure awesomness, just by having them look at me. Okay not really. :P
Umm...hmm...well, I'm pretty darn good at ripstiking. And umm...I'm a photographer! But I can't say I have too many hidden talents. :)
"Our lips were so close, I could feel the heat of his breath on my skin." Gabi and Marcello's feelings for one another are beginning to stir. What do you think of Marcello as a romantic interest thus far? What do you think of his intended?

*shrug* I thought he was cool and all and perfect for Gabi, but honestly by this point I hadn't found him all that amazing. I mean, for Gabi he was. He was an excellent character. Just not one I found myself really falling in love with. ;)

Marcello and Luca take turns teaching Gabi the dances of Toscana. Would you have liked to attend a ball like the one Gabi was practicing for? Do you like to dance? Do you know any cool dance moves? Extra (not really) points if you YouTube yourself dancing and share the video. Come on, it will be fun!

*squeal* OOOH! I LOVE to dance! In fact, there is little I like to do more! And I especially love old dances. I used to go to civil war balls back when we lived near P'Cola and it was the highlight of the year for me. *dreamy sigh* Oh I just love to dance and would be estatic to be learning how to do the Toscana dances.
A video? Of me? Dancing? Are you nuts?! Sorry pal, no can do on that one! ;)

Well there you have it! Can't wait till next week!
