Bria at Happy Healthy Home has given me this award! Thanks Bria!
Here are 4 duties to perform to accept this award:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this award
2. Share 7 things about yourself
3. Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award!
About me:
1. I am about to become a sister again, making me the eldest of 8 children. All of them are boys so far - but we don't know what the expected one is! Only 5 weeks until he/she makes an appearance...we shall soon find out! :D
2. I have a passion for photography and have done several paid sessions. I love it!
3. I am working on my first novel, which I am co-authoring with my best friend, Katy.
4. I loose all the common sense I've grasped when I enter the doors of the Dollar Tree.
5.I utterly despise root beer, pretzels, and raisins. I also do not like apples or bananas. Or mango. Or peaches. Or pears. Or any other fruit besides fresh blueberries, raspberries, cherries, and strawberries(with which I am obsessed).
6. I could play volleyball for hours and hours and hours and hours and grow tired and then play for more hours cause I love it so much. :-)
7. My mom is astounded when I don't get something in the mail every week because I receive books so often.
My top 11(I only have eleven)recently discovered bloggers are...

Congratulations on almost being a big sister again! HOW fun! We'll want to hear all about him/her. :)
Thanks Charity! I'll be sure to write a post about him or her when they're born!
Darn I KNEW I was missing someone's blog - it was yours! I'm off to add it! :-)
You'll have 7 siblings??? Goodness :P
Yep seven! Six, possibly seven, brothers! It;s pretty crazy. haha
Thanks, Kait! Sorry I missed this. I'll make my post soon. Blessings!
I've been way too busy . . . I love the look of your blog, and I enjoyed reading about you and looking at all your photos. The mirror shot of you is really good. Is Victoria your best friend? That's so exciting about you newest sibling. Hope all goes well for him/her and your mom . . . When I link back to your blog, may I use your picture? . . . Blessings again! (LOL)
And now I'll leave my third comment of the night: May I also use a photo from the About Us page of Book Ponderings when I make my post? . . . Let me know.
Hey Ms. Renee!
Thanks! We had a remodeling done for the new year. :-)
Again, thanks! I enjoy photography so much! Victoria and I call each other Sisters, as we act much like sisters do and neither of us have one so we adopted each other. Katy is known as my best friend, but both of them are amazing friends that I don't know how I'd live without. :-)
Feel free to use my picture! Go right ahead. :-)
Thanks, Kait! I have three sisters. However, two of them live out of state, and we can't spend much time together. So I've always found a few more sisters from among my Christian friends. I don't know what I'd do without them either!
Ms. Renee -
Wow I'm glad to not have to know that feeling for a few more years, though having moved from where all my friends live has been hard and I do miss them terribly. As you can see, Katy and I manage to keep in touch often(;-)) and Victoria and I keep in touch, also. I still miss seeing them though!
I can't say I fully anticipate the day my younger brothers leave for college or get married, as I will miss the excruciatingly, but I suppose that the reunions are all the better and time more cherished when you don't get to see them all the time. :)
Well, I think I'm babbling again so I'm just going to end this comment now. lol
So you used to live near Katy and Victoria but moved? Did your parents move for a job? . . . My sisters are in TN and SC. They want me to move to the same city as one or the other. But even though I'm tired of the cold, I'm not ready to leave NY yet!
Yes dad's in the military so we moved in August. We're only 5 hours away, thank the LORD, but I still miss em a lot. We visit once a month or so. :)
Here in Florida we are as south as south gets, so we don't have to worry about too cold weather, though it has been frightfully frigid lately - today it was only 35°!
Thanks, Kait! I'll go do a post about it right away. :)
And to go with the above conversation...I have three sisters too. :)
Thanks so much for awarding this to both my blogs! I really appreciate it. At this point in time, I don't re-post awards to other people. I am too busy and can just keep up with basic blogging requirements. One day soon, though, I hope to be on top of things enough to do awards again! :)
Charity - Great!
Carman - Ok that's perfectly fine! I completely understand. :-)
Thank you so much Kait! I appreciate it so very much!!
My best friend is the oldest of 7 as well, congrats on that new sibling!! And I loved your 7 facts. You have a charm in putting them to words. :)
I'll blog about this probably next Friday! Thank you!!!
Casey - You're welcome! I love reading your blog and was happy to award it. :-)
Oh really? Cool! Yeah we are all anxiously awaiting the birth - everyone hopes it's a girl!
Great! I look forward to reading your 7 things about yourself. :-)
Kait,
Thanks so much for awarding this honor to my blog. It is pretty special to me since I am still so new to the blogging community.
However, like Carman, I am going to have to pass on re-posting the award simply because I have been ill with a severe respiratory infection for almost three weeks now and I am about 15 posts behind on book reviews.
Congratulations on the soon arrival of yet another sibling! I can't imagine what it must be like for you to live in such a male dominated world! I can see where it could have some real positives but I have always been thankful for my two sisters with whom I could share things that I couldn't share with my brother.
Keep us posted on the results! Thanks again!
Jan Marie
Jan Marie - You're welcome!
That's fine, and I hope you feel better. Sorry to hear you've been sick for so long - I had bronchitis for 3 weeks through December so I understand how it can effect one's blogging schdule. :-)
Thank you! It's pretty crazy most of the time, but I love all my little brothers so much!
Though I would love to have a sister my age, I think not having one has strengthened the relationships I have with my sisters in Christ.
I will! Only 4 weeks on Monday - we're all very excited!
